SBSI Plants Purple Tulips at Hospice Center in Scarborough

We recently planted purple tulips at the Hospice of Southern Maine in Scarborough in honor of National Hospice & Palliative Care Month. These tulips will bloom every year, symbolizing remembrance and gratitude.

Our goal was to beautify the community and inspire others to give back. This initiative was inspired by Jim Godbout, a member of the SBSI Board of Directors and a dedicated local volunteer known for his contributions to various causes.

Now, these vibrant tulips remind us of the positive impact that kindness and generosity can have. We hope this initiative encourages everyone to reflect on the power of giving and the difference it can make in our community!

Visit the Hospice Center each spring to enjoy the colorful display and be inspired by the spirit of giving 🙂
